(FILMAFFINITY)… (mais)

Wyndham's Theatre: Thought this was pretty pish, horrendously stagey middle class farce with occasional try-hard meta references and a very obvious conclusion. Surprised at the number of positive reviews before the West End transfer, a real disappointment after Zeller's fantastic "The Father"

Wonderful book! Sexually frustrated version of Flaubert's novels (which the writer alluded to constantly) mixed with a bit of politically incorrect ideas on islam.
I was expecting (based on the back cover) that one of the protagonist to go on a rampage through Cairo and its brothels but none of them did.
The ending was superb and disturbing in a way. Loved it!
