Sarah, Duchess of York

I've never read any Sarah Ferguson books before but a most intriguing lady has me hooked. I couldn't get enough of this book. I absolutely loved it.
Sarah Ferguson really knows her characters and knows how to caption them. It was like I was a fly on the wall during Mary's adventures.
This novel is full of adventure, mystery and romance that had me wanting more.....
I like how she added all the historical facts about that century and the area.
I can't wait for her next novel to come out!… (mais)

3.5 stars (rounded up to 4) - I know much will be made of the fact that the Duchess of York is the author of this novel. It’s why I picked it up from the library. Overall it’s a decent if not terribly exciting read. I wished there was more romance in it as it’s billed as a romance novel. It’s more a coming of age storyline with romance as the secondary plot in my opinion. It’s also a little too long. However I did race through it quickly and it kept me entertained so overall a worthwhile read.… (mais)
