Now if only some of the inventions mentioned were real? This book is pretty humors, and good for a couple of laughs. I read it when I was traveling on the train. I was kinda put off by some of the price range for some of the items in the book, but appreciated the light artists renditions and the fact that this book was a catalog style was funny in itself. Good as a jokester's gag gift.

I found this to be a fairly humorus light read meant for standing in line or other periods of waiting. Not something I'd buy, but amusing enough to read if handed to me.

A spoof of a high-end catalog. This reminded me of many comedy movie trailers - all the funniest gags are used in the description of the book, and the rest of it's just boring filler. There were only one or two concepts that I found actually funny, with the rest of them either lame or, for some of them, in bad taste.

A parody of a high-end catalog, a la Neiman Marcus with descriptions worthy of J.Peterman. It is unfortunate timing that the book was released when it was. A year earlier I think it would have been a hit. With the economy the way it is, the spoofs fell flat for the most part.
