I honestly feel in love with these poems! The combination of science and facts about nature and poetry is wonderful. This is a new outlook on a traditional science book that works perfectly. The poems are lovely and the facts at the bottom of each page are very informative. This is a large collection of poetry which is impressive by itself let alone the quality of poetry. I would give this my highest recommendation.

This collection of poetry is very well rounded and gives a sense of awe and excitement to the subject of science and nature.

This book has a fair balance of classics as well as modern poetry written by the Children's Poet Laureate Mary Ann Hoberman. Useful addition to many science and ecology units.
