Absolutely mesmerizing book! Filled with hoodoo magic that involves real world tragedies such as human trafficking and drug addiction, this paranormal drama doesn't disappoint.

I received this book as part of Early Reviewers. The premise itself was interesting and I liked the story, however at points I found it a little hard to follow with the jumping POVs and the different character names. Overall I think it was a good story and it kept me entertained.

I felt this book started out a little slow but then picked up and was interesting. Towards the end of the book it was a little hard for me to keep track of the characters as they changed names several times. The last chapters also seemed rushed almost like here's all these things that happened and this happened and that's it. Almost like a summary page to wrap up events?
