In this lighthearted picture book we meet the gentle Old English Sheepdog, Andy, as he captures hearts of the Alaskan children of Noatak and readers everywhere. Bright and cartoonish illustrations leap from the pages of this sweet story about Andy and the ones who loved him.

This is a whimsical story (based on the author's own experience) of an English Sheepdog who moves to an Alaskan village and makes a great many friends because of his "good spirit". A humorous reminder of what is important in friends, and a nice insight into Alaskan life. My kids especially love the page where Andy is lost in the snow and everyone has to shout "Andy Andy Andy Andy!". And who can rival Rie Munoz's artwork?
