Wonderful Winter (Seasons) de Jennifer Marino Walters
This story is quite touching. I liked reading it to the kiddos in my placement because I was able to make it interactive but pretending to snow angels. We also counted the snowflakes and marshmellows in the hot cocoa.
This book is all about the ways that we can find numbers in nature. An example would be the number of legs on a lady bug or the number of leaves that are on a tree. This book counts up to ten using things that are in nature. I liked this book because it has students thinking about nature in a different way. Also, the pictures really capture the attention of the reader because of the beautiful photographs that are taken. This book would be a great way to integrate science and math, such as addition by adding up the number of legs on a spider and a lady bug.… (mais)
