This map, #8 in a series of 10 maps covering the Pacific Crest National Scenic Trail, was produced by the US Forest Service, in partnership with the Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs and the Pacific Crest Trail Association. The northern half of the trail in Oregon, approximately 240 miles from the Diamond Peak Wilderness and Odell Lake to the Oregon-Washington border, is depicted on four panels: 1. Three Sisters, 2. Santiam Pass, 3. Olallie, 4. Mount Hood. Scale 1"=1 mile or 1:63,360 ; Universal transverse Mercator proj. (W 122°07ʹ30ʺ--W 121°37ʹ30ʺ/N 45°37ʹ30ʺ--N 43°37ʹ30ʺ).

This new map, printed on water- and tear-resistant paper, is a considerable upgrade from the previous version. In addition to the topo map of the PCT, each panel includes a vicinity map, trail elevation profile, color photos, recommendations for shorter hikes in the area, and information on the geological, historic, and ecological features along the way.
