A meaty, reinforcing follow-up to physicist Smolin's _Time Reborn_, which took issue with such ideas as the contention that time is illusory, the multiverse conception, the immutability of physical laws, and the alleged apotheosis of mathematics. Philosopher Unger's portion (~70%) of this new book is dry, syntactically ponderous, and repetitious. Smolin's portion (~30%) is easier to read (although it does include some very new and unfamiliar ideas) but marred by the relentless use of "which" in place of "that" and an inexcusable, wholesale misnumbering of the many literature references. Substance-wise, well worth reading even though there are many things one could disagree with.… (mais)

This is how our Government Operates! More of an extensive newspaper article rather than a book covering J. Edgar Hoover's rise to power.
Nothing was beneath the "Director" and his henchmen to convict however they thought was guilty.
Definitely worth reading.
