As someone who both writes and publishes books, I was keen to read a well-reviewed, short text aimed at people like myself. I was not disappointed. We generate our own electricity locally using dams and wind farms. We have oil and natural gas and we have refineries. Our water comes from our wells, not a reservoir in some other state. We are capable and more than ready to defend ourselves.

As the rest of the world falls apart, this isn't such a bad place to be.
