Ramana Maharshi (1879-1950) et Ramesh Balsekar (1917-2009) sont deux des plus grands mystiques de l’Inde moderne. Ils ont enseigné la non-dualité (ou advaita) comme une voie vers la réalisation de soi. Leurs enseignements ne préconisent pas une pratique complexe ni un long chemin vers l’illumination, mais soulignent simplement que nous avons besoin d’une juste compréhension de notre identité pour être heureux.

A beautifully written story of love, friendship and betrayal. The story mainly revolves around three friends about to enter manhood in the city of Varanasi trying desperately to achieve their ambitions, while at the same time distracted and sidetracked by habits of alcohol and cigarettes.
If you are hoping for a lot of sexual escapades (as the title seems to suggests) you might be a little disappointed, as the story concentrates more on the realistic day to day life of a spoilt rich kid (trying to get the approval of a never satisfied father), a scholar turned bad (partly due to his parent's divorce and partly due to a friend's influence) and finally a poor son of a drunk (wanting to achieve a lot with his life yet not actually wanting to work hard enough for it).
Well, in short a short and great book to read.… (mais)
