book for 5th-7th possibly. Super relatable graphic novel that middle school girls will love. This book is about a girl and her family and there road trip they go on, and all the bumps along the way. Great for kids to connect too, and read if they don't like reading.

This book would work for older elementary (4-5 grade) students because of the length of the reading.
This book follows Raina as she navigates middle school life while also navigating a difficult recovery journey following an injury to her mouth.
This would be a good book to have available in the classroom for students to explore on their own. It's a good book for those that enjoy graphic novels as well as those beginning the transition to middle school.

This story is about a little girl who needs braces to straighten her teeth. She is very worried about her outer appearance, boys, and gets bullied. Through her journey at school she is learning how to figure out who the true person she is. She realizes that smiling is good and okay to do. This book is great for 5-8th graders. I think that this book can be very encouraging to kids who may be going through the same experience, because middle school is a very awkward stage in life.

This is one of the books in the comic book series of the babysitters club. The characters and storylines are sure to appeal to young girls and I love the way it deals with real topics like family illness and sibling differences. The characters are dimensional and often positive role models. I would have in classroom library for 3rd-5th.
