This picks up right where the previous books have left off. I thought my family was a bit crazy but Luke's take the cake. This book is filled with a little angst, a great build-up of anticipation, and a little bit of angst. I enjoyed the characters and secondary characters. I was a little confused as to why Ellie would be drawn to Jake when she has seen how nasty and crazy the members of Luke's family is. That baffled me and seemed out of the context of the story.

Still, a solid continuation of the story and ends on a cliffhanger that will make the next book interesting.… (mais)

This book picks up right where the last book ended. I wasn't sure where the book or characters were going to go when this one started. There are a lot of secrets at play here and this book is no different. Just when one thing is discovered or questions answered or a problem is solved it seems like more come up. I am not sure what could be that big of a secret that it would be a shocker or deal-breaker at this point in the story but I have my suspicions as to what is going to come out.

I struggled about halfway into this book because it just seems like after four books the story should be about over as should the drama and secrets. It did catch my interest again toward the end. I will be glad for the last book and hopefully Luke and Ellie can get their happily ever after. I rounded up to four stars since the story has kept my attention despite frustrating me that it has taken this long to get to this point.… (mais)
