This book contains nine chapters, where there should only be four or five. It's great for illiterates since, beyond the introduction, there in almost nothing to read. My nine-year-old could have done as good a job...freehand...without a PC.

None of these "fills" are attributed to their original authors (many are already copyrighted by Zentangle and their numerous of their certified teachers; nor are there any diagrams demonstrating how to create the fill. Chapter 'A' shows all the "fills" being demonstrated in a given shape category (even though, I don't see any association with the shape being highlighted in the chapter's title vs. the fill itself. Chapter 'B' shows the same fills from a much closer view. This chapter is useless, since the designs of chapter A are clear enough to see very well; I feel that the 'B' chapters were inserted only to add bulk to the book.

There are many books on doodling and Zentangles available for sale online or through your local library. Please don't waste your time on something that looks like it was slapped together within mere hours.… (mais)
