This is not a book of Earth-shattering philosophy nor is it a gritty celebrity tell-all. It's a folksy memoir of a life well-lived, with insights and tips on how Michael got through it all. Full of helpful reminders of how we should all be making ourselves and our loved ones happy, it's probably best appreciated listening to Michael read the audio version.

It was....good. I'm not really sure how to describe it. I found the book to be very interesting. Michael really breaks it down, and is very descriptive, which helps the reader really learn a lot about what it means to be an NFL player. On that note, Michael really breaks it down, and is very descriptive, which at points got a little too wordy, in fact there were parts were I was skimming more than reading, which is never a good sign. That's why I'm not so sure how to describe this book, the same idea I saw as a positive at some points and a negative at others.
Overall, I enjoyed it. Michael is an interesting and funny guy who knows his stuff. If you are a Giants fan, or even a football fan, I would recommend at least trying this one.

This book really taught me to wake up happy. As per suggested in the book, I began reading it before I even got out of bed instead of on the bus, or at work, or right before bed at night. This small change has really improved the mindset with which I approach every day! There are so many other lessons in the book that I will be trying to implement one at a time for the year.

I'd say 3.5 stars. I adore Michael Strahan and loved watching him on Kelly & Michael as well as NFL on FOX. He has such a great personality and it shows in the book. Now I only wish I had been a football fan during his 15 years with the Giants!
