From the landing at Juno Beach, through the awful grind in Belgium and Holland to the final burst across the North German plain this is the official account of the last phase of Canada's European WWII. The mapping is very good, and the prose is clear. If you are interested in the clearing of Antwerp, and why the Allied Armies ate in the winter of 1944 -45, this book gives a big part ofthe explanation. More Americans should read it.
