Shockingly sad at the end, unshockingly good all the way through. This is a book that grows on you as do the characters...All of them save for a couple peripheral ones. Take a girl who cannot unsee the future and a boy who freezes at one critical moment, put them together and watch terrific chemistry. Add in the boy's inner dilemmas about what really happened a year earlier in a classroom, plus the events on the day he meets the girl, and you have a developing moral quandary. Then there's the inability of the girl to figure out why her mother vanished years ago...a mystery the boy ultimately solves. This was a delight to read, even if there was sadness at the end.… (mais)
