Banaras : sacred city of India de Raghubir Singh
Having lived in Banaras in the 80's, this book always takes me back.
This is one of the best photobooks I own, and a great retrospective of Raghubir Singh's work. He was a truly talented photographer, who managed to capture the beauty of India. This book is gigantic, so you can enjoy all the detail to be found in each photo.
Anything by photographer Raghubir Singh is well worth taking a closer look at. Sadly he died a few years ago.
Raghubir Singh is my all-time, favorite photographer. A master of color and light.
