About the Author
She was born in Lincoln, Nebraska & received her BA from Stanford & her MA from the University of Wisconsin. She has taught learning-disabled children in Wisconsin & Alaska. Marcia spent several years living on her boat in the harbor of a small fishing village in southeast Alaska, teaching at the mostrar mais public school & accumulating the stories of the fishermen & their families. Wonderful setting, interesting characters, lots of action!
Very evocative of life in coastal Alaska. Full of the usual eccentrics. A hard but interesting life.
Something is disturbing the whales -- human greed strikes again. Now if they would only talk to each other and learn how to make a time line....
OK as murder mysteries go, but do the characters really have to repeat twice each action in their dialogs?
