Reality TV Nightmare was a fun, fizzy read with the most fantastic illustrations and young readers protagonist. I was swept up in the enjoyment of turning each page in this hilarious visual delight. Aimed at girls between 9-11 this is a must for 2010!

I absolutely loved the format of this book. Each page had many gorgeously colourful illustrations and interactive concepts, it was very hard to put it down. This is not a book I would usually pick up so I advise everyone who wouldn't to do so, as I guarantee you that you won't be dissapointed. I loved the way that the diary was so realistic. It was written just like any average girl would. There were spelling mistakes and tons of cut and pastes this is such a fun thing to read if you want to take a break from 500 page novels.

I was also very impressed at how well each character was represented. You received a really clear brief of who each character was, their interests and personality and how each one effected the fantastic female lead, Polly. It was extremely difficult not to love each character from the kooky Vanilla to the incredibly annoying Arabella to Polly herself. Even though this is aimed at younger readers, each reader will easily be able to relate to Polly and all of the painfully emabarassing things she has to go through.

A fantastic book rich in wit and humour, this should be everybodys guilty pleasure.
