In Praise of Blame de George Sher

Like the person who does not even act on whichever moral principles are justified, the person who does act on those principles but does not care if their demands have been flouted or ignored in the past, or if anyone is disposed to flout or ignore them now, is ipso facto not as committed to them as their justification warrants.

I'm normally not moved by Humean accounts, but I have to admit that this one was pretty good.
