My Sentiments:

'Forgot to Say Goodbye' was a sweet story of Noah and Olivia coming together after a one-night stand. Later, they became co-workers, and that was when a big problem was presented. However, at this time, Noah had no clue as to what Olivia's problem was with him, but later, after finding out what it was... would he be able to rectify it?

The author did an excellent job with this story in giving the reader a good read of what happened almost two years after they were working together. Will Olivia be able to tell Noah now that they are reconnecting again?

This is where you must pick up this good read to see how well it all comes in this cute, sweet, steamy, heartwarming romantic story.… (mais)

Since I'm always looking for my next favorite author or my next favorite series, I have a lot of books by authors I haven't read before. This is one of those books.
While it is well written, it is not one I had an easy time reading. It just *lagged too much for me.
However, I would like to say, if you enjoy New Adult books that are very well written in the Rock Band type of story, you will very much like this one. Just remember it does 'Lag'. It is a good representation of a 'Between' book. What I mean by that is it is written in a 'Young Adult/New Adult' style.

4.5 Serendipitous Stars

This author is one of the best at rockstar romance. Even with two series (Resistance series and the Crow Brothers) she always manages to make the new ones unique. It is not the same old cookie-cutter romance with different names or slight changes. There is always a freshness about her stories that draw me in. And draw me in she does in this story.

From the prologue, I was stuck like a fly to molasses. I thought I could see the story in my head of how it would go. But then there were slight things that made me question it which only then further drew me in. This connection was fire. If I had never believed in Kismet before I sure do now. Dare and Weatherly were proof that dual flames exist. They were love personified. There were some minor issues that I had with the story but not enough for me to say anything without giving away the plot of this story so I won't.

Instead, I will say that not everything is as is it appears. Just read this book and enjoy the ride. I really hope that the author continues this and turn it into a series because I would love to see the other guys have their stories told too.… (mais)

This author has always been a favorite of mine. She creates characters that are relatable and authentic. I'm drawn to their vulnerabilities and to their strengths. I felt that with Joshua and Chloe.

That being said, I struggled with some parts of this story and the plausibility of it being true. Especially, as the likelihood that Chloe's dad would have the pull that he did or that Josh didn't have the money when pinch came to shove. That being said, I still liked the characters and their connection. It seemed unrealistic to depend on a "memory". A memory, that seemed to not be as pivotal to the story as I had thought because remembering it didn't do anything other than to show what had been lost and why it was lost. I was going for more of a resolution with the father. The characters and their love kept this story going for me.

Even though this wasn't my favorite from this author, it still was a solid book. The cover is gorgeous too and fits how I pictured the characters.… (mais)
