Wow is all I can really say...I guess the complexity of the book and the hmmmm factor made me fall in love. The author kept me wanting to turn the page and find out what would happen next. Yes, there were parts that were predictable but the rest..was just interesting. I will be reading more of the authors books. I love the characters in the book and I also wish that I could read more about the Cedar's .. is there a long lost family member or someone who we can learn about. Can we see Jenna's story? I just absolutely loved this book!… (mais)

This one started off much slower than Forgotten Father and it took me a while to get hooked. I read the entire book because I like Ms. Rose's writing style and like the fact that her books are pure genuine love stories. I think the book was predictable but, I did like the story and I loved Elinor. I loved the humor int he book including the milk-maid costumes and the peach ice cream. I loved that Cole was not really a "blank" but, a real man even though he was a millionaire he was sweet kind and caring. Again if I could give this book 3.5 I would not that I didn't like it but, I have high expectations for the author after reading her other book first. I can't wait to read more of her work!… (mais)
