This very simple story provides a good backdrop for Alex's life story. The addition of a personal message and pictures by Alex makes this book feel special and personal. I love the humble tone of the story too. This book is perfect for our read-a-thon activities because we are using a sports theme. Every morning we have a guest speaker and this would be a good book to read. A lot of students want to read stories that involve sports when they come to the library. This would be a great book to recommend to the younger readers.… (mais)
This book is great to use when showing kids how to write. It has a great badabing sentences included in here for teachers to use as an example when teaching writing. I think kids would really enjoy this book because it shows great expression and makes it visible.
