Conhecimento Comum

In 1969, DI Chadwick investigates the murder of a young woman at a music festival, uncomfortable with the values, looks, and behaviour of the younger generation. In the present, DCI Banks and the team investigate the death of a man who turns out to be a music journalist looking into the history of one of the local bands who performed at the long-ago festival. Banks is convinced the cases are linked somehow, but it takes time and serious detective work to get to a conclusion.

The second half of this two-novel edition starts with the discovery of a man killed in an alley on a Saturday night. It looks like it might just be a night out turned into a fight gone wrong, but as DCI Banks and team slowly discover, they have nagging doubts even when things are starting to look resolved.… (mais)
