The Book of Mormon Made Easier, Part 2 (The Gospel…
Excellent and inspired commentary on the Book of Mormon. Part 2 ends with the gripping and very tense Nephite-Lamanite battles and how it relates to our current day.
Sad to see this series end. David J. Ridges has an incredible understanding of scripture. Now I'd like to find another study guide for the Book of Mormon, but the 'Made Easier' series will be hard to match.
Another excellent guide is Laybe Packer's My Daily Book of Mormon Devotional - 365 Day Personal Study Guide. I'll probably revisit that one again at some point.… (mais)

I LOVE little booklets like this!
Quick reads for an inspirational lift during the day!
"You never know when you will be called upon to exercise the priesthood."
Therefore it is so important to ALWAYS be ready and willing.
"David J. Ridges shares examples of priesthood power in action and addresses ways to strive to be ready at all times to administer to the sick and give blessings of counsel and comfort."
A couple of my favorite quotes:
"Worthiness does not imply nor require perfection. But it does mean striving to live in accordance with gospel standards."
"Having the authority does not necessarily guarantee that we also have the power of this wonderful priesthood."

An informative and in-depth look at Revelation. I learned a lot about the symbolism involved in the prophecies. But as a non-Mormon, I had trouble sifting out what agrees with other Protestant perspectives and what is strictly Mormon interpretation.
