Meal Prep: Healthy Meal Prep Recipes to Lose Weight and Save Time for Your Family and Friends by Amanda Rice
TOC where recipes are broken up into meal categories. Intro with small color pictures talk about meal prepping and how to do it and why and how easy and money saving it can be.
Each recipe starts with a title and small color picture, prep and cook times and servings.
List of ingredients are included and you should be able to substitute for your healthier dietary needs: low sodium, low fat, low sugar and fresh vs. canned items.
Directions are given and some nutritional information is included: calories, fat, carbs and protein.
I don't like having a recipe that has American and UK measurements, takes time out of preparing it to convert it to American.
Apple mug muffin sounds like one I'd really enjoy. There's a lot to these recipes. hope you give them a try.

This book starts with a table of contents where the recipes are broken up into meals along with other healthy choices.
Intro talks about how vegan diet can make you happy and healthy and how to go about doing that.
Essentials you will need and not go broke.
Easy week night cooking and shortcuts.
Each recipe starts with a title, small color photo, prep and cook times and servings along with a summary of the dish.
List of ingredients and you should be able to substittute for your healthier dietary needs: low fat, low sugar, low sodium and fresh vs. canned items.
Directions are given and nutritonal information per serving: calories, fat total, carbs, protein and dietary fiber.
Not every recipe has a color photo but I do find the ingredients are healthy for most diet plans, fresh also
Love the pictures they tell the whole story, so many to choose from, not sure which I want to make first.

I received a MOBI.file of this book through a giveaway she had on LibraryThing and the following is my honest opinion.

Like most couples my dear OH and I love going out to eat various different cuisines; and for us these are Chinese, Italian and Indian. And when we can’t I love to cook recipes from these same cuisines. I used to cook Chinese, but the heat generated by using the ring with the wok began to discolor the top of the stove so I had to stop. In doing Italian, I tweak recipes to make them healthier. Recently I became to have the urge to cook some of our favorite Indian dishes and began a search to find a decent, easy to follow recipe book and found this one. While the book refers to using an “Instant Pot” any decent slow cooker will serve the any purpose and as soon as I’ve digested all the information contained in this book, I’ll start cooking them.

The book itself has been logically arranged. Just like Chinese foods each area of India is noted for having a different style of cooking as well as a unique flavor, [like the Cantonese, Mandarin, Sichuan, etc. for Chinese foods], which is where the author, Amanda Rice starts off her book with before moving on to the wonderful health benefits of eating Indian food.

With this out of the way Ms. Rice continues with the most important component of cooking any cuisine, the essential India spices needed to successfully cook this cuisine properly. Once a reader has gotten a basic appreciation and understanding of the information the book has given, they can move on to attempting to preparation one of the numerous dishes, from soup to desserts it contains.

For wanting to give her readers a relatively simplified, hassle-free manner of cooking this cuisine, I’ve given Ms. Rice 5 STARS. Now it’s time for this reviewer to go out and buy a new updated electronic slow cooker or an Instant Pot.

I thought yeah here we go another Indian cookbook, only this time in a One-Pot style, nothing new or fancy here!
I'm wrong! I admit it!
This book is stunning, the photographs are high quality, the recipes are easy to understand, and it even has nutritional values for you, bonus!
Amanda does some explaining at the beginning on the areas and types of Indian cooking then goes into some of the most widely used ingredients/spices so you understand them and how to use them.

I'm a little surprised by this book, to be honest, I really thought it was just another Indian Recipe Book, but I really like the idea. Throw it all in one pot and cook it, simple Indian cooking most people can get, instead of cooking out Spices to release oils then add yogurt/water etc.. make the sauce, fry the meat or add the vegetables, three hours later you are starving, but still no meal yet. So give it a go, I'm sure you'll like this book as well!!
