I enjoyed this story. I liked the chemistry between Zoey, Stone, and Jace. I liked how they decided they would see what evolved from their attraction which only got hotter the more they got to know one another. It was fun seeing how Zoey had the two of them wrapped around her little finger. I plan on getting the rest of the series to see how things work out for these and other club members.… (mais)

Erika Reed is new to me, but an author I will be watching.

Rachel is leaving Mark, her abusive husband. She's tired of his treatment and his sleeping around, so she's running away to her brother, Grant, a former Marine and current bounty hunter. When she gets to his house, she heads to bed, but is woken in the middle of the night by a strange noise. When she goes to look, she sees another man and a woman having sex.

Lance has been staying in Grant's guesthouse. One night, he has a lady over for a night of fun and games. When he hears a noise from outside, he pulls on his pants and finds his best friend's little sister.

The attraction between the two is pretty instant. I like that the relationship takes a while to build up, it isn't immediate. Great story, and I look forward to reading the rest of the series.… (mais)

So, we have a hot older guy who's a former Marine. There is not a problem with that at. all. Yummmm.

So, 10 years ago, Mac had an amazing week with a woman named Avery. The only problem with their week is that he woke up at the end of it with her gone. He wasn't able to find her then and has spent the last 10 years dreaming of her. Now, he's in a place where he can find her. And find her he does.

Avery fondly remembers her time with Mac. She was in a dark place at the time and he made things better. But then, she had to go back to real life, after a fantastic week. But when Mac shows up 10 years later, looking as devastating as before? Well, she is just left in a tizzy.

I love second chance romances, and that is very definitely what this one is. Not only a second chance, but also an older couple, which is pretty awesome, since you don't always see that in romances, but as a 40-something, it's nice to see a woman closer to my age than my son's age every now and again. Anway, I loved their romance and I love that Mac never pushed for anything from Avery and was very careful to not step on any toes.

All in all, I loved this book, and I'm looking forward to more.… (mais)
