Found this book initially quite difficult to get into, but like other books I persisted with it, and was glad I did. Very interesting plot, and a great read,

This book grabs your attention from page one and maintains it to the end, well written atmospheric and descriptive, with a car chase shoot em up action sequence straight from a 'Bourne' film. There are some excellent characters and a few twists and turns to keep the reader guessing, and just when our hero seems about to come face to face with his nemesis a last minute shock to leave everything in the open, but I won't spoil it for my fellow readers.
I do however heartily recommend this book… (mais)

Tom just needs some time with the man that took his life away from him. He needs to know why he family was killed and not him? He has a way in and just hopefully he can get the answers that he needs before it drives him insane. But there is a catch he has to help with a case of someone he knew and if this means that he gets his answers then he really has no other choice but to help. But Tom just can't seem to make friends and he doesn't play within the lines. And the more he digs into Darcey's life the stranger things become and he can't give up until he finds out all about the girls and their lives. He has come this far and now it is time for revenge or will he loses his chance again?
A great thriller that keeps you turning those pages.… (mais)

"Hard Fall" was a quick, enjoyable read with a very likeable character in Thomas Blume. The epilogue was definitely a shock, so now I'm going to try and find the other novels in the series.
