What a feast this book is to the reader who has visited Paris or the armchair traveler! The feel of the embossed cover and thicker pages, the new book smell, the ribbon bookmark, and unusual photographs give you a much different feel for Paris than the Fodor's and other travel guides. Full information for locations of metro stop, web site, phone number along with the conventional map and address are so nice to have, but the best feature is the map of each arrondissement in the back showing all the locations mentioned. This allows you, when at a specific site, to see how close by the recommended places in the book are located to you on one map unlike many travel guides when you have to go to several maps of only hotels or museums or restaurants and then figure out how close by a spot is to you.
