Raduan Nassar

Raduan Nassar was born in 1935, in Pindorama, in the state of São Paulo, Brazil. He studied Law and Philosophy at the University of Sao Paulo, Brazil. He has been an acclaimed literary author since 1985. Two of his major works translated into English are Ancient Tillage (1975) and A Cup of Rage mostrar mais (1978), a novella. His other works include Um Copo de Colera and Menina a Caminho. He also worked as a journalist and editor for the newspaper he founded with his brothers, Jornal do Bairro. In 2011, he donated his entire commercial property to the agricultural departments of the Federal University of São Carlos and retired to a smaller farm. (Bowker Author Biography) mostrar menos
