A nice job of recreating some of the old classic Sunday comic strips in full size and color, as if it were an actual newspaper. Many of my favorites are here: "Gasoline Alley", "Terry and the Pirates", "Prince Valiant", "Pogo", "Little Orphan Annie", "Krazy Kat", "Polly and her Pals", and many others. The only quibble is that there are so many different strips that it is impossible to devote any in-depth space to any one strip, and the result is more of a survey of the Sunday comics scene.

This is a full format, full color boxed set of huge sheets full of Sunday Funnies from 1896 to 1950. Pogo, Li’ Abner, Terry and the Pirates, Yellow Kid, Katzenjammer Kids, Barney Google, Krazy Kat, Tarzan, Bringing up Father, Mutt & Jeff, Orphan Annie, and the gangs from Gasoline Alley and Our Boarding House just to name of few! A treasure!
