{My thoughts} – I really enjoyed this book. I have not read this series previously to reviewing it recently for Scholastic.

Dragon is a fun character that hears a cat meowing outside his door. He tries to get it to come in time and time again but it just sits there. Eventually he picks it up and takes it in his house. He then has other issues, cause he has no idea how to care for a cat.

The words on the pages are written in an east to understand manner. The illustrations help the child to better understand the story. I think this is a great book to pick up for beginner readers. It is also a wonderful book to help show children how hard it can be to be a first time pet owner.

I look forward to reviewing more books in this series in the near future!

{My thoughts} – George and Harold are told they aren’t allowed to compete in the invention convention. So, in order to have a bit of fun they decide to sabotage everyone else’s invention.

They figured since they were going to be in detention the entire day, no one would know it was them. It turns out that someone did know and he turned them in. He decided the damage they did wasn’t worth keeping their secret.

George and Harold then had to write a sentence over and over again. They had to fill up every black board in the room. They’d found a way to finish that easily and quickly which gave them time to write a new comic.

When they finished the comic they snuck out to go and make copies of it. They made the copies on an invention and everything in the comic came to life. The boys weren’t sure what to do so they ran.

Eventually they ended up getting help solving their issue. They got help from none other then Captain Underpants. He helped them to well make matters worse!

If you’d like to know what happens in the book you’ll need to read it. It’s a fun book and I’m looking forward to reading more books in the series in the future!

{My thoughts} – George and Harold are regular goof balls at school. They enjoy pulling pranks and causing issues for those around them. They also spend a lot of their free time creating and distributing comic books called The Advenrures of Captain Underpants.

I’m this book they pulled a massive prank that took place during a football game. They thought they’d gotten away with it free and clear until their principal called them into his office. Once there he showed them a video tape of them being caught red handed!

The boys were forced to meet the principals demands. They were forced to allow themselves to be blackmailed by their principal. Their principal decided that he’d make a list of demands he wanted the boys to do. They more or less became his slaves.

After a few days the boys found a solution to their problem. If your interested in learning more about what they did, what their solution was and how they’d chose to handle their situation – you should totally read this book!

I found it to be a rather short but fast read and I greatly enjoyed it. I look forward to reading more books in the series in the very near future!

{My thoughts} – George and Harold decide to take a hint from their science teacher. For their newest prank they decide to create an exploding cupcake recipe and deliver it to the school cooks. The cooks decide to make a huge batch and you guessed it, it makes a huge mess. All the school cooks decide to quit their jobs.

George and Harold get in trouble and are banned from the lunch room. I’d have to say in their case it’s a rather convenient punishment. Harold and George quickly learn that the new lunch ladies aren’t on the up and up. They go to tell their principal what they learned and of course he doesn’t believe them.

If you’d like to know what happens in the remainder of the book, you’ll need to read it. I really enjoyed reading through to the end and look forward to reading the next book in the series soon.
