Martyn Pickersgill

Martyn Pickersgill is Wellcome Trust Senior Research Fellow in Biomedical Ethics at the Centre for Population Health Sciences, University of Edinburgh. A sociologist of biomedical knowledge, his research interrogates the co-production of biomedicine, society and subjectivity, with a particular mostrar mais focus on the neurosciences, psychiatry and psychology. Ira van Keulen is a Senior Researcher at the Rathenau Institute for technology and science system assessment in The Netherlands. She is a medical sociologist trained at the University of Groningen and the City University of New York.
