About the Author
Matt Nixon has 25 years of experience as a management consultant and HR executive, working with CEOs and senior leaders around the world. An Oxford classics graduate, he was a partner at Towers Perrin in Chicago and London, and subsequently held the positions of Global Head of Organisation mostrar mais Effectiveness for Royal Dutch Shell, and Managing Director, Group Head of Talent for Barclays. He now runs Disraeli Group, a London consulting firm focused on the issues of leadership, reputation and legacy. MGM Drive-in Theater: Motel Hell and IT (Motel Hell… de Matt Nixon
A very enjoyable "double" graphic novel. I thought that Motel Hell was outstanding, and could easily be expanded further into a full graphic novel. IT showed its age. Not bad, but a simple story we've all heard before. Still very enjoyable.
Unique artwork that goes with the theme of the story. I didn't care for the font used for the dialogue, very hard to read. The plot was okay, another "military is bad and full of secrets" trope. I won't be continuing.

My Review:
You ever just know you're going to like a book from the cover? That's this one, for me. I really enjoyed the style of the art, it's a lot different than any of the other ones I've read lately. It starts out with an old man with a big mouth. He's in an alcoholics anonymous meeting, spilling all the government secrets he can, and showing proof. Of course that can't happen, so people are in place to take him down.
Overall I really liked reading this and I can't even imagine what will happen next, I love it. This story is crazy and supernatural. I didn't want to put it down, and when I was done I just wanted to read another volume. It has everything, it's thrilling and mysterious, but also gory and exciting. It has genies, demons, demon handlers, werebears, witches and who knows what else? Definitely check it out if you get the chance.
