Many of the Irish drama players are waiting for a new drama by Joe Steve Ó Neachtain, especially since that was a great success with Ní Mhaith Linn for Tólog a number of years ago. Help you, therefore, the new play In the Name of the Father, how Liam's case, or 'Wino', is being discussed as a young man who has returned to the town after spending a spell in a psychiatric center. The cause of the play is why Wino was sent to 'the house of the angel' and how this happened to the people around him: his mother anxious; his father, the local Sergeant; The priest, the Canon, who wore his heart is Wino's heart; and Andy, a tow and a heater, but the only one who maintains a human right touch with Wino. The author hopes that this new play will hit out a smile but it will be less likely to move the eye into the eye by anybody that is the case with the wrongdoing, exploitation and scourge of young people in His father's name for many years.
