This book tells about how to express one's feelings and the reality that not everyone gets along all the time. It tells about how these children know what they like and what makes them feel good, in addition to what they don't like and what makes them uncomfortable.
Toby thinks his big sister, Clemmie, is the best! He loves her unconditionally and enthusiastically. He accepts what she can’t do (walk, talk, etc.) and raves about all the fun they have together. The fact that she has multiple disabilities is an afterthought of no great importance to Toby. The illustrations highlight the siblings’ imaginative play, incorporating Clemmie’s wheelchair.
