More great sports humor from a favorite strip. I haven't seen any new strips in 20 years, but I know it's still being produced and I miss it horribly. It always provided the best arguments for those of us who love sports, but don't quite consider them a national religion.

Another in the "Cartoon Stories for New Children" series, this time with a new story written for the series. This one carries an anti-hunting/anti-gun message (which I quite agree with), and features a reluctant Tank, bamboozled into a hunting trip with a station advertiser. Tank's reaction when he kills the buck makes me remember why I love the big lug.

This is one of the "Cartoon Stories for New Children" series, that puts together comic strip stories with a message. Here the message is how ruinous it is to the love of sports when parents take over and over officiate and competitize games for their kids. This is a point that has often been made in the pages of the daily strip anyway, and so is very well told here.

More dead-on sports humor from one of my favorite strips. There is a crying need for a strip to bring some perspective, sanity and humor to the sports scene, and this is it.
