Not quite what I expected

This was not quite the book I expected it to be it was definitely different from what I normally read, paranormal wise anyway. I thought this was more of a vampire paranormal book, but it definitely is not. But I can say that this book had me turning the pages as fast as I could. I had to know what was going to happen next. If you're like me when you're reading this book you'll be sitting on the edge of your seat waiting to see what is going to happen next. Although I did really like this book tremendously. I don't think that I will continue with the series.… (mais)

Okay! WOW! This novel is amazing!! I'm surprised at just how much I enjoyed reading this novel!

The Legend of the Blue Eyes is the first novel in the trilogy and let me tell you, its worth a read! B. Kristin McMichael has a new and original take on Vampires and the Vampire World. Divided into clans the Vampires or rather "night humans" are at war and Arianna(main character) is the only hope of uniting them. Arianna is an captivating character, she's sweet, kind, and strong. Of all the characters in this book, I really liked Devin! He was tough, deep and complicated. He's a fierce warrior who has his own secrets and duties to Arianna and the world of the night humans.

The Legend of the Blue Eyes has a great story-line and the characters are so lovable, fun and in a sense made the book come alive. Overall, it's a captivating story with romance and danger, and I really think this novel will develop into something great, I cannot wait to see what happens in the next novel! I highly recommend it!

First off. ...if you haven't read any of this authors previous Night Human series, you may want to check them out first to get acquainted with the world building. If you've already read the other books and book 1 of this awesome series then buckle up! We see Whitney grow into her siren abilities. ...true to form Sams evil brother Tim causes trouble. ...how to keep Whitney safe when Sam himself is ordered to remain underwater by his overbearing dad. Whitney is left alone on shire as her friends have been ordered to act as servants to her archnemesis Amber. Curious siblings show up to the school and befriend Whitney in her time of need. There's something unique about them. ...she just doesn't know what it is. All kinds of supernatural mayhem occurs. ...who will come out on top? Will Sam and Whitney's love reign supreme? Will the King realize what a jerk he's being? ....(don't hold your breathe) ...I can't wait to see what happens next! I'm LOVING this surprise faction in the Night walker realm. Looks like within the siren faction there's still a huge amount for us to discover along with Whitney. Personally I'm also hoping we may see her BFFs from the previous Night walker/Daywalker books show up in the future. She and Prince Sam are quickly becoming a force for good and a force to be reckoned with. ...keep an eye on Jade/Jax. ..I think we may be seeing them in future books . After all, one can never have enough friends or allies. Long live Prince Sam and Whitney! !… (mais)

Brava!

LovE this final book in the Merworld series!! Super excited that the night walker books are NOT don't though... As the next series to begin is about Jax , Whitney's hunter friend. And so begins The Hunter Trilogy (available for pre-order now)... Back to Scales and Legends.... Whit FINALLY learns what's up with her pink tail, and my oh my is this a payoff for the readers of these series. All she went through by being stripped of her Nightwalker self in the previous series is explained. We see old friends from ALL the series 😀. Yay!! I love seeing everyone meet....and the battle against the evil brother Tim and all his followers aka minion mer-sheep (lol) wilo begin. Can Sam and Whitney convince the King everyone is really in danger? Sam and his beloved use every skill they have, and call every friend available tonassist in this perilous time. Some people you might NEVER expect to backup the siren come to their aid...or rather they come to Whitney and Sam's. Friends united, old tales/stories learned....this book is filled with mystery, legends, friends, foes, allies and enemies....and one whoooer of a battle looming. Who will prevail? Will everyone make it out in one piece? When secrets are learned, whill friends turn their backs? The one constant is the love that Whitney and Sam share, and also how much Whitney cares about her friends. So if you like stories with mermaids, intrigue, underwater politics, old grudges, romance and lots of surpises.....then this book is for you! Be sure to read the previous two books in this trilogy or you may get lost. You might also want to read the other books in all her series (Blue Eyes, Day Human, Skinwalkers Witchling to know who some of the surprise characters are)...ENJOY!!!… (mais)
