A shocking and thought-provoking account of good intentions gone bad.

Claude-Pierre, a mother who had helped both of her daughters overcome Anorexia Nervosa, decided to open a treatment facility. She claimed her approach to treating the disease was revolutionary, and wanted to help others who were suffering.

Unfortunately, her lack of clinical experience, combined with the pressures created by shows like Oprah and 20/20 (who dubbed her as an "angel" and did not bother to question the true effectiveness of the approaches used), ultimately lead to secrecy, abuse, and deception.

It's an important story to be told ... and not just for those interested in eating disorders. I believe that many people become trapped in such dangerous cycles. They're not bad people ... they are just trying to meet impossible expectations.
