- Haldis Inge McEvoy, better known as Hallie, is full of surprises. She inherited horse genes from her equestrian mother and grandfather, grew up riding on Long Island’s Gold Coast and came very close to fulfilling her ambitious childhood dream to “do every horse sport out there.” Hallie has competed in equitation, hunters, jumpers, eventing, dressage, sidesaddle, gaited horses, barrel racing, reining, driving, foxhunting and polo. Perfect for those who are going to their first horse show! It's easy to follow, and provides all the best information a green competitor needs. Would make a wonderful gift for someone thinking about getting into horseback riding, seeing as it covers more than just showing. A great value.
A well-done bio of a well-known champion thoroughbred, and only the second filly to beat the boys in the Kentucky Derby.
