Pretty good listen. A large part of this book expands on the existing Netflix culture deck; you can probably get ~60% of the value just by reading that. Still, it's nice to get more context behind some of the opinions expressed in the slides.
A decent read. I struggle to say this should be a whole book - but that's also because I've read and listened to a lot of Patty's HBR articles and podcast interviews. If you picked up the book not having seen anything beyond the original Netflix culture deck, then the book is far more useful to you.

The thing I dislike about both the deck and this book is how lacking in context they seem to be. The Netflix model works really well for certain kinds of businesses and teams and in certain stages; doesn’t work well for others. They never really make a solid argument for why.… (mais)
