A story which is actually a prequel to the Saints Series. As it is time for the annual plantation ball Fanchon and Josephine are off to work but find themselves at the centre of trouble. Will they be able to survive the night without getting arrested.

The plot and characters were interesting, but the author would cruise along, then cram all of the action into a few paragraphs. It was jarring, and it left a lot to be desired.
