This book tells the story of a girl named Charlie who is always getting in trouble with her parents. She feels that nobody in her house loves her so she decides to run away with her Panda bear. Her grandfather shows up where Charlie goes and she realizes that she must get him home. When she brings him back her family is so proud of her. This book could be used to teach theme and messages of love and forgiveness to young children.

Too small for Honey Cakes is about a new baby coming into the family. It goes through how the first born feels and how the dad handled it. It was a cute book, and would be used well in households that are bringing in a new baby. It helps explain to the kids why the parents attention is more distracted.
