Israel Regardie & The Philosopher's Stone
The Alchemical Arts Brought Down to Earth
by Joseph C. Lisiewski, Ph.D.

One of the things I love about my job as reviewer is that I get to encounter so many different and exciting books, many of them teach me so much about the world and myself, and this 187 page offering was no exception. I learned the scientific view on a lot of things I wasn't sure about or I frankly never thought of in a mental way. This book was a huge eye-opener for me about occultism and religion as they sort of blended together and the wonderful story of two innovative and key figures got my head to really thinking. I would recommend this very deep and at times heavy read to anyone wanting to get a greater understanding of our metaphysical history. Thanks Joseph, for sharing your incredible insights with the rest of us.

Love & Light,

Riki Frahmann

More sound and fury than actual practical adivice, though some of the latter

Over half of this book has the same material as Kabbalistic Cycles, verbatim. Has a couple good ideas, but needs more new material.

The material in this book, so far as my own experiments have shown, actually works. The problem is that it is complex to learn and use. I simply believe that there are better methods of accomplishing the same goals.
