The Logbooks of the Lady Nelson, With The Journal Of… de Ida Lee
Logbooks are pretty dull if you don't know sailing terminology. This has some historical interest, no doubt, due to the early colonial nature of the work the ship was engaged in, but the most interesting parts to my eye were the most disturbingly colonial - ie the encounters with the Aborigines (and later Māori) described by turns patronisingly, dismissively, or maliciously.
