It was disappointing for the first 3/4, hard to connect with the main characters, but it came together in the end. Hopefully the next book will continue like the last 1/4.

The last 2 books have been pretty boring, hopefully the next one will be better

it wont get boring. this author is able to surprise the reader with totally new and unexpected changes. Fun to read and i cannot await the next installment.
If I have a little complain - if there is some time between reading the first and second book it wouldn't hurt to explain a little bit what happened before. Had a hard time to remember everything and a small hint about the recent adventures and accomplishment would have helped tremendously.

Definitely one of the better litRPG books.
The beginning is a bit slow and the references to our real world are more in the way to get into the books reality than to make it more believable. But when the protagonist finally arrives in the gameworld it starts to get interesting. The main character is likeable and has some flaws that makes it fun to follow his way through this world.
If you like the litRPG genre I recommend this.
