He is depressed and drinking heavily when Dr. Elloran approaches him and explains that her company is in the process of cloning Marybeth, aka Sunshine. They need Adam's help to complete the process. The philosophical problems with cloning are well thought out and addressed in this deeply emotional YA novel.

This was a book with an unusual and interesting premise. The writing was nice and flowed easily. This was a book that sucks you in for sure. I enjoyed it. I don't necessarily like how some things go in the story but it was an enjoyable and easy read that I think will appeal to lovers of YA.
