TW: Rape/Sexual Assault

Well...its not FATAL, at least. There's no tables on the dilution of the anus by race.

The first few bits read more like a workshop went, "How can we disseminate basic sex ed to teen grognards?" Good basic information on biological systems of reproduction, menstruation, and contraception. Doesn't treat women like they are inferior or icky. It does show its age in that it doesn't have much on trans or non-binary presentation.

The section on class, which is basically "Let's take each core class and make a sex-oriented variant of it" was awkward and felt like the result of a NaNoWriMo writing prompt. I don't min-max enough to tell you how balanced they are, but they definitely seem clunky to play.
"Well my sex monk, er, I mean my TANTRIST, hasn't had at least 20m of sex in the last 24 hours, so I can't do ability X and Y, but I can still do Z if someone blows me real quick..."
"Well I can't bone you because my dick is still on cooldown until a long rest, but the sex bard has a sex performance of at least 19 so make them do it."

This does not add to realism or depth. Its just more micromanaging.

Latter sections are just really rapey, largely in the form of spells that make people sex slaves. This book really needed a chapter with guidance on how to make sure everyone was on the same page, how to check in with people periodically, how to set ground rules for in-world expectations (e.g., "Just FYI, this is a gross violation of human rights - if you use a spell that makes everyone in the town square suddenly want to bone you, the mayor WILL send assassins after you for mass sexual assault."). This was the same issue a lot of White Wolf/Black Dog books fell into, in which it has a short disclaimer but no real guidance on things that can go awry very quickly.

I also feel like saying BDSM is automatically Lawful Evil alignment is a sign of a lacking imagination and nuance.

Ultimately I have no idea who the audience for this really is, because it seems like the folks who need a table for what contraception spell beats what forced conception racial ability either already made their own ruleset for it or will never have players.… (mais)

This book adds adult material to D&D for the first time. Not only is it unprecedented, it's done pretty well, too. Fantasy figures from Gilgamesh's and his pal Erdu to Conan and Red Sonja have contended with the power that sex can have even in the midst of life and death situations. The BoEF adds this allure to your adventure game, discussing how it affects characters, how to determine the level of realism and detail appropriate for your players, and of course how magic can twist the forces of the libido. Prestige classes based around beauty and vital energy; skills, feats, and equipment with applications in the bed chamber and the dungeon; and spells that affect the body in surprising ways are all here. Presented as well are details on the fertility rates and chances of crossbreeding fantasy races, as well as the less savory health effects of unprotected sex in a savage world are covered.

Also found in this book is one of the best discussions of the nine D&D alignments I have ever seen. Few of us understand just how Good and Evil, Law and Chaos apply in life or death situations, because few of us have been there. Most of us can relate better to the examples given here which use romantic and sexual situations to offer a clear understanding of how characters of a given alignment treat other people. (Yes, Lawful Good characters can and do have sex, unless they've given a vow to the contrary!)

The photography by fetish photographer Hypnox is very professional and by turns erotic or disturbing. They appear to have used a combination of photo-editing software and make-up and costume effects to create fantasy creatures and situations that evoke the grown-up mood of this work.
