I liked this! I got a bit tired of all the philosophizing about marriage and monogamy after a while, but I enjoyed the characters. It's weird how Lily's sleeping around is presented as a big issue, but not her drinking or doing drugs. I mean, by the other characters or the text itself. It was also interesting to me that these people just always had cocaine. Like, you could just ask for some and someone would produce it. I don't think I have any friends like that. Anyway, fun read! I did not foresee the twist with Will!

I meant to say the part about Lily checking her phone/email during a deposition bothered me the most of all her actions. So unprofessional and seemed out of character for her.

O-M-G. This a fabulous guilty pleasure book. There is steamy romance, swift and devastating revenge, hard won redemption, and a hilarious text message meltdown. Also, I want an assistant that will allow me to call her Renfield too.

Show me a heroine who is making an actual choice to avoid monogamy (sex and the city) and I'll be happy.… (mais)

Not sure where I got the recommendation to read this book. A chick lit, beach book. It is pretty exaggerated in trying to make it's point.
